Joe Burrow Autographs & Top Cards

Joe Burrow autographs and marquee inserts are the crown jewels of any Burrow collection. Here are the families collectors chase — with live eBay listings for signed cards and premium hits.

Find these cards on eBay

The cards on this list trade on eBay, not Amazon — these open live listings for each one. Buy graded (PSA or SGC) for anything above four figures.

Autographs and premium 1/1s are where a Joe Burrow collection goes from great to legendary. Because authentic Burrow rookie signatures are scarce relative to demand — and heavily counterfeited — this is the category where buying certified and graded matters most.

The families collectors chase

  • Panini National Treasures — Panini’s flagship premium football product, and home of the Rookie Patch Autograph (RPA): one card that bundles an on-card rookie-season signature, an embedded jersey patch, and a low serial number. The colored parallels number down to one-of-ones, making this the single most iconic Burrow rookie in the hobby. See our 2020 National Treasures RPA set review for how the set is built.

  • Panini Contenders — home of the Rookie Ticket, the premier and most iconic Burrow on-card rookie auto. The Rookie Ticket climbs a scarcity ladder: the base Rookie Ticket auto, a short-printed photo Variation, numbered Cracked Ice and Playoff Ticket parallels, and the one-of-one Championship Ticket at the very top. See our 2020 Contenders Rookie Ticket set review for the full ladder.

  • On-card autographs generally over sticker autos, all else equal — the signature is applied directly to the card rather than to a separate label.

  • 1/1 chase cards — printing plates, one-of-one parallels, and true one-of-ones for the deepest pockets, whether from National Treasures, Contenders, or another premium Panini product.

  • Topps, from 2026. Worth stating plainly, because the Panini-only habit trips collectors up: the NFL licence moved to Fanatics-owned Topps for 2026, and Burrow signed for it. 2025 Topps Chrome Football (released 15 April 2026, the first fully NFL-licensed Topps product since 2015) carries a Burrow Base Auto, BA-JB, alongside his base card #61. A certified Topps Burrow autograph is a real card — not every star has one, so do not dismiss it on brand alone.

Sourcing: the BA-JB above is read off that published checklist (24 August 2026). His 2020 signature cards are a different matter — the free published Panini Football checklists reachable from here begin with the 2023 editions, so the Contenders Rookie Ticket ladder and the National Treasures RPA parallels described on this site are listing-attested, not checklist-verified. They are real, heavily traded cards; just read the card number, subset and serial off the card or the slab label rather than off a page. Beyond that, the live eBay listings show exactly what’s on the market and how each is numbered.

On-card vs. sticker, and why it matters

An on-card autograph is signed directly on the card itself during a private signing session — nothing sits between the pen and the cardstock. A sticker autograph is signed on a small adhesive label that’s then applied to the card, usually because the product’s print run is too large for Panini to get every card in front of the player individually. Both are legitimate factory autographs when they come from the manufacturer, but on-card signatures are scarcer to produce and consistently carry a premium over a comparable sticker auto. The Contenders Rookie Ticket and the National Treasures RPA are both on-card, which is a large part of why they anchor Burrow’s autograph class.

Buy smart on autographs

  1. Certified or graded only. A factory auto or a third-party-authenticated slab protects you from the many fakes. New to authenticating signatures? Read how to spot a fake Joe Burrow autograph first.
  2. On-card commands a premium. If two comparable autos are priced similarly, the on-card version is usually the better hold.
  3. Condition still matters. Even on autos, centering and corners drive the grade — and the grade drives the price. If you’re buying slabbed, our graded-cards page explains the PSA, BGS, and SGC labels and how to verify a cert number before you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Did Joe Burrow sign many cards?
Burrow signs for various premium Panini products, but authentic on-card rookie autographs — especially Contenders Rookie Tickets and National Treasures RPAs — are genuinely scarce relative to demand, which is why they command strong prices and why authentication matters so much.
How do I know a Burrow autograph is real?
Buy autos that are either factory-certified (signed for the card set, encased by the manufacturer) or third-party authenticated and graded. Burrow autographs are frequently faked, so avoid loose 'signed' cards without reputable authentication.
What's the difference between on-card and sticker autos?
On-card autos are signed directly on the card and are generally more desirable. Sticker autos are signed on a clear label applied to the card. Both can be legitimate factory autographs — the eBay listings note which is which.
What does RPA mean on a Burrow card?
RPA stands for Rookie Patch Autograph — a single card that combines an on-card rookie-season signature with an embedded piece of game-worn or player-worn jersey. The 2020 National Treasures Burrow RPA is the best-known example and sits at the top of his rookie autograph class.
What's the difference between the Rookie Ticket and the Championship Ticket?
Both are from 2020 Panini Contenders. The Rookie Ticket is the base on-card autograph — the accessible entry point into Burrow's signed rookie class. The Championship Ticket is the same design's one-of-one at the very top of the ladder, with short-printed Variation and numbered Cracked Ice / Playoff Ticket parallels in between.
