The Cincinnati Bengals are inseparable from Joe Burrow’s career. Established in 1967 by an ownership group led by Paul Brown and beginning play in the AFL in 1968, the franchise joined the NFL in the 1970 merger and has competed in the AFC North since 2002. It landed its quarterback of the future when it drafted Burrow No. 1 overall in 2020. He led Cincinnati to Super Bowl LVI — the club’s third AFC championship, after 1981 and 1988, and its first Super Bowl since the 1988 season — and made the Bengals one of the most-watched teams in the NFL. The franchise is still chasing a first Super Bowl win, having lost XVI and XXIII to the 49ers. Because Burrow has only ever played for the Bengals, every Burrow card is a Bengals card. That makes this franchise the natural anchor for a Burrow collection — from his 2020 rookies through his Super Bowl run to his current-era hits.
